My very first assignment at the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin had me interviewing several experts around the state about the erosion that was happening in a tiny, but important, shore habitat at Kenosha Dunes. It turns out, there are many lessons to be learned from this story and there are many people fighting to protect their piece of the prairie.
