We didn’t exactly know what we were getting ourselves into, but we showed up nonetheless.
By the end of our time together, I had articulated this:
Look for what you hear flying through the air
and try to feel the grass between your toes
Take this moment to pause,
now breathe
and breathe again
just be
Find a moment of awe in your every day
It is full of them
If you are open to them
Consider that you are not the only one who matters,
who requires clean air,
who passes over this lawn,
who senses that the rain is coming,
who pauses to take a breath.
